Rod Coyne - Fine Art Giclee Prints

Limited Editions

More about giclee printing

Giclee printing is recognized world wide as the defacto standard in digital fine art printing.

Giclee (pronounced: ghee-clay) conforms to archival standards consistent with collectable fine art.

Rod Coyne's fine art giclee prints are produced using only pigment based archival inks, and all additional materials are of archival quality and produced by reputable manufactures. The mediums used are acid free.

Each print is produced individually combining state of the art technology and traditional craftsmanship.

The process was born in the early 1990’s and since its early days the technology in equipment, media, inks and production has advanced immeasurably. Today’s technology provides incredibly detail and brilliantly vibrant colour. The resolution is actually higher than lithography resulting in a crisp contrast with rich, intense colour.

All of Rod Coyne's prints are produced on archival quality Waterford Saunders 350g watercolour paper, giving each piece a similar look and feel to an original work of art.

Life span estimates of wide-gamut pigment giclee inks by third party testing indicate over 150 years with no noticeable fade. It is recommended that Collectors treat their prints as they would any other piece of fine art. It should be protected from moisture by glass or plastic and should never be exposed to prolonged periods of direct sunlight or other harsh conditions.
